Tattoo transfers are perfect for this. Once one has rubbed off, you can get another one and apply it to the same area a couple of days later.

To tell the truth, there is no substitute for the real thing. But don’t let that put you off trying out a tattoo transfer. Remember, you are not yet sure that you want a permanent tattoo. The point of the exercise is to try out something that looks approximately like the permanent tattoo that you think you want to have.

Temporary tattoos are a great “test vehicle” for permanents. They do allow you to try out the feel of a real tattoo and see if you’ll like it. However, you shouldn’t just look at temporary tattoos as being try-outs. Temporary tattoos are worth considering as ALTERNATIVES to the permanent option too.
