Getting a temporary tattoo design is one way to try out a new tattoo design to see whether it is really you. We have a saying we use on this site, that is “Think Before You Ink”. Tattoo removal can be a long process. Tattoos are meant to be permanent, but there is nothing stopping you from trying out a non-permanent design before going for the real thing.
Types of Temporary Tattoo
Popular types of temporary tattoos from which you can choose are Decal tattoo (transfer), Airbrush tattoo and Henna tattoo.
Decal Tattoo (transfer)
This type of temporary tattoo lasts for the shortest time. The temporary tattoo is applied to your skin by wetting it and applying pressure to the dry side so it effectively ‘sticks’ to your skin. Remember the types you used to get in bubble gum packets when you were a kid? This is exactly the same sort of thing.
Airbrush Tattoo
Airbrush tattoos are applied using a stencils, inks and a spray machine. They have a more realistic look, you can personalized the experience and have your own design done. Airbrush tattoos involve no pain and can help you to express your individuality. Airbrush tattoos typically last up to a week.
Henna Tattoo
Perhaps the most well know of temporary tattoos, the Henna Tattoo has been around for centuries. This tattoo lasts the longest of all temporary tattoos but can be finicky to apply. They are popular in tourist spots around the world, and are a great way to try out a tattoo design that has caught your eye
